Amusingly, you can take a postal vote, completed and in its sealed envelope, to a polling station, but you and the officer are obliged to fill in and sign a form saying your name and address, and saying if you are a campaigner.
If you post it, it is not accompanied by such a form. So anybody could have put it in the post box.

Stretching the truth a little, 1462 allegations of fraud resulting in 10 convictions & 4 cautions.
In the past 5 years, there is no evidence of large-scale electoral fraud.
Of the 1,462 cases of alleged electoral fraud reported to police between 2019 and 2023, 10 led to convictions and the police issued 4 cautions.
Most cases either resulted in the police taking no further action or were locally resolved by the police issuing words of advice.
We have a " version" of democracy in this country. You can get in power with 35% of the electorate. Because another 35 % do not vote. Average turnout is at most 65% which suits those with vested interests. Australia has better electoral rules and turnout.

Younger people, students, poor people living in rented rooms, Ie probable Labour voters….yeah quite a bit.
This isn’t about fraud, it’s a Tory policy to benefit Tories
