I suspect the Civil servants that make such decisions do lean to the left.

Fact is that Brexit has roused racial ill feeling again to a higher level than it was. Actually given the method of achieving it that was a calculated feature probably not to the extent that has occurred, Then throw in Farage -very short on solutions. Don't try blaming others. Accept responsibility. OUR authorities didn't deport, they granted asylum. That's where the responsibility lies.
