Can I get something that sits inside the shower hose on a mixer tap to reduce the pressure?!

It's great that the mains pressure at the taps means the bath fills quickly, but it also means the hand held shower head works like a pressure washer!

Don't really want to change anything cosmetically, but was wondering if there was something I could put inside the hose fitting...

That's what I was thinking, just didn't know what to look for!

Cheers!

You can make a disk, with a hole cutter, from a piece of scrap nylon or plastic. Then just drill a hole in the centre, enlarge gradually, until you get the pressure you are looking for.

Great, I was wondering if that sort of thing would work, I'll give it a try!

Could you fit a pressure reducing valve anywhere?
