What is the best method for finishing off the space between a wood gymnasium floor and adjoining cement floor, with a diference of 14mm. in heighth of the wood floor ? Does there exist a metal threshhold plate that will cover the height difference between the floors, that comes in five foot or greateer lengths and approximately six inches in width, that can be anchored to the concrete floor and screw fastened to the wooden gymnasium floor?

They called "Reducer Strip" made in metal or wood.If you still want 6" wide you might have to have it made up or your local joinery/carpenter could make one out of wood etc............
