Broken conduit on DNO side... would you bother?

The conduit on the DNO side of my incoming feed has gone all brittle and is breaking off slowly bit by bit over the weeks.

I certainly don't want to spend any money on it, but what would people do?
- Tell the DNO and see if they'll sort it for free as it's their side
- Not bother doing anything
- Sort it yourself and pay

Thanks for any tips!

There is no way to “sort “ that out without removing the service head which is live. I’d leave it alone
 
Agreed. Its an armoured cable that is just buried, unprotected in the ground. the white pipe is just decorative.
If you really want to sort it, get a bit of 40mm white waste pipe, slice it in half and glue the two halves over the existing pipe.

It may well not be SWA, but split con or straight con.

In any case, the DNO have different rules to 7671.

I would fit a short length of galv tube protector over it
