Hi newbie here looking for some help / advice regarding roughcast that was replaced on my new build under the NHBC warranty period. Builder pulled the full house back to blockwork and dry dashed the full house again.

I have an issue on the side of my house where there is all dark shadows that is there 6 weeks post completion. The builder were out today to look but as usual non committal and going to have to speak to render manufacturer as they don't think its an application issue. They told me 3 weeks ago it was still wet to wait another 3 weeks which I have. The shadows dont change whether it is wet or dry.

Any one shed any light on what going on in the below pics, thanks

Dry dashed ? , from the photos it looks like Tyrolean , this is flicked on rubbed render using a Tyrolean gun. the patches may be due to the render still being too green before the coating was applied, get the builder out to remedy it with a coat of paint, me personally if I was to have an exterior hard wearing shell then as much as it's a bitch to paint then a skuded one part granite chips to one part OPC would be my choice , it sets like bell metal and does not fall off and handles all weathers unlike sand and cement render does
